Another year past and some fantastic work made it through to the 2012 Association of Photographers Awards. Congratulations to some of our favourites – Julia Fullerton -Batten and James Day’s images were beautiful and very inspiring.
Phil and Dave’s India project made it down to the last three in the Moving image section, and although they didn’t win best in category, to be chosen as one of the top three videos was a privilege in itself.
We had a great night and met up with lots of good friends – here is a selection of some of the uncensored images !

We’re looking for another new addition to the Shadowplay brood and are on the lookout for a talented video camera operator and editor to join our growing team.
Must have experience using DSLR’s and other video equipment, lighting and sound recording. Also needs a sound knowledge of Premiere Pro and Final Cut pro for editing. Experience in using After Effects is a benefit but not a definite requirement.

We’re pleased to welcome a newbie to the Shadowplay Team. Nick Tallents comes with a 1st degree in multimedia, having dedicated the last few years to developing his motion graphics and CGI. He’ll be looking after all our CGI and Moving Image projects moving forward.
He’ll be popping along to see our lovely clients very soon!

Alex Flynn will run, walk, cycle, swim or crawl 10MillionMetres by 2014 to raise £1 Million or more to fund research into a cure for Parkinson’s diease.
That’s 10MillionMetres of races all by a man who was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s disease at the age of 36. Notwithstanding his diagnosis, Alex will not give up and will tackle some of the worlds toughest races; all the while fighting a disease with presently no cure that without which will most likely, in time, take away his ablity to run, walk, talk… the list goes on.
