Guide Dogs DRTV Ad
client Guide Dogs Shadowplay® was commissioned to produce a 90 second DRTV ad that would feature on a number of Sky channels. We met with the agency and discussed the brief and came up with a challenging, but exciting concept involving a motion control rig. Shadowplay® took on full responsibility of producing and managing the shoot from pre-production all the way through to supplying the master tapes to all broadcasters. Restricted funding was always at the back of our minds, which meant essential planning was required in order to not go over budget. We spent two days in Henley-on-Thames and filmed the advert on RED One. All cast members were either partially sighted or completely blind, which meant that extra care had to be taken at all times. After a very long shoot and an edit with a quick turnaround, not longer after we sat back and watched the advert in the comfort of our own homes.
